The Corporate Design Award 2024 nominates Suan with the rebranding for Derendinger.
After winning a Red Dot Award: Brands and Communication Design 2024, the banding for Derendinger has now also been honored with a nomination for the Corporate Design Prize 2024. Both awards confirm the trust that our customers place in us - and show how important a strong corporate design is for the success of a brand. As a nominee, Suan receives a detailed entry in the annual publication with the Derendinger rebranding project. This yearbook serves as a benchmark and source of inspiration for designers, agencies, students, teachers and companies.
The 32nd Corporate Design Award
For over three decades, the international Corporate Design Award has honored outstanding launch and relaunch projects as well as individual brand-defining elements: from logos and font developments to color and image concepts to innovative corporate sounds and staging concepts. The award-winning work makes a significant contribution to a brand's identity and impresses with its creative ideas, design skills and precise craftsmanship.
A high-caliber jury from various design fields ensures a wide variety of perspectives. In addition to design, functional and formal aspects, a central role is always played by whether the work is emotionally moving, thought-provoking and invites a deeper understanding of the brand.
The Rebranding for Derendinger
The Derendinger, Technomag, E. Klaus, Normauto and Matik brands belonging to the Swiss Automotive Group (SAG) have merged under the new “Derendinger” brand. The result is a completely new brand world. Together with the client, Suan revised the brand strategy and designed the target groups. On this basis, a new brand was created, which was met with enthusiasm by both Derendinger and its customers. With the new look, Derendinger has made a radical visual change. The first thing that catches the eye is the bright color: lime. A strong yellow with a pinch of green. The color stands for dynamism, future orientation and commitment. All values that fit perfectly with the new brand. The bold, fresh color accent clearly sets the Swiss market leader in the vehicle parts aftermarket apart from the competition.
