Font Design
Suan developed an exclusive font for Helvetiq. This font was specially designed to reflect the playful and friendly nature of the publisher. Its unique characteristics help to set Helvetiq apart from other publishers and strengthen the brand identity. A key task of the redesign was the reworking of the logo. The short version of the new logo is a cheeky smiley face that symbolizes the brand's cheerfulness and accessibility. This striking element is easily recognizable and sticks in the mind of the target group.
The existing shade of red, which is an important part of Helvetiq's brand identity, has been adapted to a brighter and more digital shade. The new tone ensures a better impression in digital media and also increases the visual appeal of the brand in print. Secondary colors were defined in the matching spectrum to celebrate a playful approach.
Layout System
Another key element of the redesign was the development of a standardized cover and layout system. This system enables Helvetiq's in-house designers and illustrators to create consistent and appealing book and game covers as well as interior layouts. The uniform design guidelines increase brand recognition and make production processes more efficient.
