New editorial design of the voting brochure.

In June 2018, we won the competition of the canton of Basel-Stadt with a convincing, fresh concept for the redesign of the editorial design of the cantonal voting brochure. Now, for the November vote, the Basel voters will hold the newly designed brochure in their hands for the first time. The competition was carried out as part of the redesign of the entire voting communication by the canton.

The new layout places special emphasis on clarity, reader guidance and accessibility. Through a harmonious color concept and specially developed icons for each voting template, we designed a guidance system that lets the reader know at any time which chapter he is in. In addition, the icons facilitate the preparation and deepening of content in other communication channels. In the future, icons for use in social media or other digital channels can be animated.
